Job Description
At NorseCare we are recruiting for a Site Support Assistant to work for an average of 24.3 hours per week (13.8 hours per week at Mountfield, our newly refurbished and extended 46 bed private specialist home for people living with dementia and 10.5 hours per week at Springdale, our lovely residential home in the village of Brundall just outside of Norwich).
 

As a Site Support Assistant, you  will provide a site support service including building and grounds maintenance, technical support, handy-person support, collections security, health and safety and cleaning. You will assist in the movement of furniture and equipment as necessary, undertake routine ground maintainence, regulate heating/ventilation as necessary and provide a handyperson service.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in using site equipment (hand tools, lawn mowers, decorating equipment) and experience of using cleaning materials/substances and machines.

  • Has a good standard of knowledge of health and safety procedures and knowledge of safe working practices.

  • Has the ability to life heavy and awkward objects

  • Has experience of using ladders and heavy equipment
